Private transfers for foreign travellers: what to know
Booking a car with a driver in the Russian Arctic is simple, but a few things work differently from home: payment, messengers and language. Here is what to prepare.
Payment: bring rubles in cash
Bank cards issued abroad do not work in Russia. Plan to pay in cash in rubles. With us you pay after the trip is confirmed; for some long routes a prepayment may be agreed.
Messengers
WhatsApp and Telegram can be unreliable inside Russia without a VPN, so do not rely on them alone. Phone calls and SMS through a local or roaming SIM work, and email is a good way to receive your booking details. Chinese travellers can reach us on WeChat.
Language
Our drivers speak Russian and use a translation app and translation earbuds. You can write to us in English at any time.
Time zone and addresses
The Murmansk Region uses Moscow time (UTC+3), and all pickup times on our site are local. Write your hotel's name and address as they appear on your booking; the Russian spelling helps.
How booking works
Send a request with the route, date, time and passengers; the price appears at once. We confirm the trip and send the driver's details by email and on your booking status page.
