How to get from Murmansk Airport to Kirovsk
Kirovsk is about 212 km south of Murmansk Airport on the R-21 Kola highway. You can take a bus, a train to Apatity with changes, or a door-to-door transfer.
Bus or train
Intercity buses and trains run between Murmansk and Apatity. The catch is the changes: from the airport you first get to the Murmansk bus or railway station, and from Apatity on to Kirovsk. With luggage and children it takes a lot of effort.
Door-to-door transfer
